Reinvesting in our community

UHM’s annual Purple Day is a chance for the partners at UHM to invest in our communities. I am humbled to work for an incredible Mortgage Company that reminds us of the importance of stepping out of our day-to-day and giving back. 

Our team spent the morning at the Greater Lansing Food Bank boxing snacks for distribution to schools and local food pantries in the area. We also got the opportunity to tour their new facility and see how the rest of the community gives back. Even our referral partners take the time to help us. Wow! Is it impressive!

We believe in empowering responsible homeownership. The Union Home Mortgage Foundation exists to equip families with the tools and resources to achieve economic self-sufficiency. 

 The partners here at the UHM East Lansing office all pitched in for our annual Partner Back Pack project, a back-to-school supply drive. Our branch raised over $1,500 and a ton of backpacks filled with school supplies! Over 60 branches participated in their own drive, benefitting local nonprofits in their area. This company inspires generosity and I am so proud to be a part of it. What a great cause! #myuhm

Once a year the East Lansing office takes the day to accept donations on behalf of Volunteers of America.

The annual Red Nose Ruckus fundraising gala supports Child and Family Charities. Their cause is to end cycles of abuse and neglect, create brighter futures for homeless and at-risk youth, and provide programs that strengthen families. This cause is important to my family and we have been actively involved in supporting it since 2018.
